Summer in the city

Die Zeichen in Wien stehen richtig gut für den Frühsommer: Letzte Woche und auch gestern am Pfingstmontag gab's immer wieder Sonnenschein, über 20 Grad und die meisten Outdoor-Locations wie Sand in the City oder Strandbar Herrmann haben bereits geöffnet. Daher ist es höchste Zeit für meine "Sommer Uniformen". Nein, ich wurde nicht eingezogen und nein, ich präsentiere Euch keine Militärjacken und army pants. Vielmehr zeige ich Euch 3 meiner "all time favorites" für den Sommer.  Schwingende Röcke, Maxikleider, bunte Tops, luftige Overalls und Shorts gehören zu meinen Lieblingen in der warmen Jahreszeit. Den Beginn meiner "summer uniform collection" macht daher ein süßer, gepunkteter Rock, ein knallgelbes Top mit U-Boot-Ausschnitt, weiße Sandaletten, silberner Schmuck und eine passende Clutch. - Was gehört für Euch zu jedem Sommer? The signs in Vienna are really good for a wonderful early summer: Last week and yesterday we've had again and again sunshine, over 20 degrees and most of outdoor locations like Sand in the City and Strandbar Herrmann are already open. Because of that it's high time for my "summer uniforms". No, I haven't been recruited to the army and no, I won't show some military jackets and army pants to you. I rather present three of my "all time favorites" for summer. Swinging skirts, maxi dresses, bright ops, airy overalls and shorts belong to my personal favorites in the warm season. So I'm beginning my "summer uniform collection" with a cute, dotted swinging skirt, bright yellow scoop necked top, white high heel sandals, silver jewelry and matching clutch. - What's your personal must have for summer? A perfect couple

Bei meinem letzten Outfit meiner "striped collection" zeigen sich Streifen von ihrer eleganten Seite. Da meine letzten beiden Looks ja eher leger und casual waren, möchte ich Euch heute eine schickere Streifen-Variante zeigen. Die Hauptrolle dabei spielt ein schlichtes Etuikleid in A-Linie mit schwarz-weißen Blockstreifen und goldenen Zipper-Details. Die perfekte Begleitung dazu im wettertechnisch unzuverlässigen Wien habe ich in einem meiner Lieblingsmänteln gefunden: Ebenfalls geradlinig und schlicht. Bei den Accessoires halte ich mich heute bewusst zurück, damit meine beiden "Akteure" die volle Aufmerksamkeit erhalten. Mit diesem Look wünsche ich Euch ein schönes Pfingstwochenende!

In my last outfit of my "striped collection" stripes are showing their elegant side. Cause my last two looks have been quite casual, I want to show you a chic variation of stripes today. The leading role thereby is played by a simple shift dress with black & white block stripes and golden zipper details. The perfect attendance in unreliable Vienna concerning weather is one of my favorite coats: As well straight and simple. I hold off myself concerning jewelry to draw fully attention to my both "actors". Wishing you a wonderful Whitsun with this look!

Candy-striped

Blau-schwarz gestreiftes Top, grün-schwarz gestreifter Rock, schwarz-weiß gestreifte Clutch. Klingt nach einer unmöglichen Kombination? Ich bin der Meinung: Das funktioniert! Und zwar gut. Weil alles sehr schlichte Kleidungsstücke sind und ich die Accessoires wie Ring, Ohrringe, Schuhe und Sonnenbrille farblich darauf abgestimmt habe. Ich liebe es zur Zeit einfach, mit Farben und Mustern (vor allem Streifen, Blumen und Leo) zu experimentieren und zu sehen, wie unterschiedlich man ein Thema (zB Streifen) stylen kann. - Wie trägt ihr den "Evergreen" Streifen am liebsten? Gar nicht, als Top oder sogar allover?

Blue-black striped top, green-black striped skirt, black-white striped clutch. Sounds like an impossible combination? In my opinion it work's! Even very good. Cause all the clothes are quite simple and I've color-matched my accessories like ring, earrings, shoes and sunglasses. Actually I'm totally in love with experimenting and mixing colors and patterns (especially stripes, flowers and leopard) and working out the different styles for one topic (e. g. stripes). - How do you wear stripes? Not at all, on tops or even allover?

Stormy stripes

Sonntag, 18.30 Uhr: Nach Geburtstags-/Muttertagsessen Aufbruchstimmung im Heurigen in Tattendorf (ca. 40 km außerhalb von Wien). 19.00 Uhr: Ankunft in Wien und Feststellung, dass ich für diese Woche noch Fotos für meinen Blog brauche. Umziehen und Marsch zur Fotolocation. 19.20 Uhr: Beginn Shooting. 19.30 Uhr: Sonne ist weg, Sturm zieht auf. Ich kann mich kaum auf den Beinen halten, meinem Fotografen reißt's fast die Kamera aus der Hand. 19.40 Uhr: Shooting fertig, Gänsehaut ohne Ende. 19.50 Uhr: Mit meinem Frotteepyjama zu Hause auf der Couch, eine "heiße Hexe" (warmer Rotweinlikör, Schlagobershaube, Zimt) in der Hand. So glamourös können die Shootings für Beiträge wie den heutigen sein :-) ... Hoffe, dass Euch die heutigen Fotos und der Beginn meiner "striped collection" trotz zersauster Haare und Gänsehaut gefallen!

Sunday, 6.30 pm: Spirit of optimism after having a birthday & Motherday's dinner at a wine tavern in Tattendorf (40 km from Vienna). 7.00 pm: Arrival in Vienna and conclusion that I need some pictures for my blog this week. Change clothes and hurry up to the shooting location. 7.20 pm: Beginning of the shooting. 7.30 pm: Sun is gone, storm comes. I'm hardly able to stand on my own feet, the camera was almost ripped out of my photographers's hands. 19.40: Shooting is finished, goose bumps allover. 19.50 pm: Sitting on my couch with my terry PJ's and a "hot witch" (hot red wine liqueur, whipped cream, cinnamon). Shootings for posts like today can be so glamorous :-) ... Hopefully you'll like my today's pics and the beginning of my "striped collection" despite my tousled hair and goose bumps!

Comfort zone

Diese Fotos sind bereits letztes Wochenende entstanden, als die Sonne noch gnädig mit uns war. Bei einem wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang, den wir mit einem Glas Weisswein genossen haben. Das dritte Outfit meiner "nude collection" diese Woche ist für mich einerseits ganz lässig und bequem, andererseits auch elegant und officetauglich. Ich mag solche Looks zur Zeit besonders gerne - Kombinationen aus casual und classy. Ein eigentlich klassisches Outfit (Hose, Bluse, Pumps), aber nicht zu steif und modern umgesetzt. - Worin fühlt ihr Euch zur Zeit am wohlsten?

We've taken this pics last weekend, where sun has already been gracious with us. A georgeous sunset, which we've enjoyed with a glass of white wine. The third outfit of my this week's "nude collection" is on the one hand quite relaxed and comfy, on the other hand elegant and suitable for office. Actually I really like this kind of looks - combinations of casual and classy. A classic outfit (pants, blouse, pants), implemented not donnish but rather modern. - What's your "comfort zone" actually?

Spring sunset

Was gibt es Schöneres, als einen Spaziergang in der frühlingshaften Abendsonne nach einem stressigen Arbeitstag? Dabei den Gedanken freien Lauf lassen und sich auf den heutigen Feiertag und das Pink-Konzert in der Wiener Stadthalle freuen. Mein Outfit dazu besteht aus vielen unterschiedlichen Lieblingsteilen, die ich aufgrund meiner langjährigen Leidenschaft für Nude-Töne und Gold alle schon länger besitze: Hose (ca. 3 Jahre alt), Bluse (ca. 1 Jahr alt), Tasche (ca. 4 Jahre alt), Schuhe (ca. 1 Jahr alt). An meinem heutigen Look mag ich besonders, da er sowohl fürs Büro als auch die Freizeit geeignet ist. - Müsst ihr heute arbeiten? Was macht ihr am heutigen Feiertag? What is more beautiful than going for a walk in the glow of the setting sun in spring after a stressful working day? While let your thoughts run free and looking forward to today's public holiday and the Pink concert in Vienna. My outfit to this consists of several favorite pieces of mine, which are in my possession for many years as a long-time passionate lover of nude colors and gold: Pants (about 3 years old), blouse (1 year), bag (4 years), shoes (1 year). I especially like my today's outfit, cause it's well with the office and for leisure. - Do you have to work today? What are you doing on today's public holiday?
